Wanted to let you know how much we enjoy your music. Dr. Johnny Green introduced us to your music with tickets to the cellar in struthers, ohio. Since then I have enjoyed listening and shared your music with many others. Always looking for area tickets. Recently adopted a little boy born on 09/11/2006 and had recently married. We played your C.D.s at our wedding. My new husband has not seen you live. I am suprising him with tickets of your tour in cleveland, ohio on Jan. 30th, 2007., for Christmas. He will also be trilled. Looking forward to your concert.
Love your music, Kim Norris

From beginning to end, this will be a journey on the high seas I will never forget. I met many fantastic people from all over our world...all sharing our common love for the blues. Tommy, Keith, Randy & Debbie, & Chris thank you for everything. Our vessel was absolutely incredible from top to bottom. Easy to get lost, cause it was so huge and I'm sure the "cocktails" added to the confusion, but there was always somebody there to direct you to where you wanted to get to. Mary, Bobbi & I greeted Tommy with our "Tommy Castro Cruise Team" t-shirts – thanks for the warm hugs we received in return. It was really nice meeting your son, Skyler, Tommy. Good lookin’ man just like his father.
After a successful run through of what to do in the event of an emergency, the music began - and come to think of it the music lasted until the wee hours of the morning which was totally awesome. I cannot begin to name all of the wonderful musicians that were on board there were sooooo many of them. During the morning, they had The Tommy Castro Band piped in for our morning breakfast pleasure what a great way to begin the day! The workshops I attended were fantastic! I really enjoyed the songwriting workshop that Tommy held and the saxophone workshop that Keith helped host. These workshops were intimate and offered some really valuable information. I could go on forever, with the warm fuzzy feelings I received from many people while on board this wonderful ship. You could sit yourself down with anybody and strike up conversation like you knew each other forever...I met people from many areas of the world and got a chance to really get to know some of the Teamers.... What absolutely unbelievable, down-to-earth, fun lovin’ people. I promised myself that before I ended my journey that I would watch the sunrise...myself and 10 other people and Gay Rene (sp?) (fellow street teamer & what a great lady) were greeted with an unbelievable canvass that painted the sky as it began its climb above the horizon. The sky was an ocean itself...a heartfelt moment as we watched in awe at the beauty set before us...many of us in tears as we experienced this magical, spiritual explosion in the sky.
Well my friends, there you have it - I could go on forever...unforgettable moments and lasting friendships to cherish. All because of a universal language we all share, love and enjoy...and more importantly I want to thank you guys, Tommy, Keith, Randy & Chris
for giving this soul a reason to dance on the high seas. Hope to see many of you again on next year's journey.... and for those who couldn’t attend give yourself a musical adventure on the high seas memories that will last a lifetime a gift that can be opened again and again.

Hey Tommy and the band. We had a great time in Concord
at Bourbon St.Bar & Grill. We could not get tickets
to the Fresno gig, so we drove 250+ miles to see you on
Saturday. We have seen you perform at theatres, blues
festivals, and Fairs, but the club performance was the
best yet. It was nice to meet you and your brother mingle
with other TC fans, and Tommy, you forgot to say thank
you for that silver Sharpie I gave you to sign autographs
which you cleaverly slipped into your pocket. Thanks again
for playing Sex Machine...........it was worth the wait........Mike

Tommy,
I have been meaning to send you a message thanking you
for the wonderfull time @ the PhotoCharity Event, D'Arcy
& Aidyn had a blast and talk about it and you daily
(it helps to have you guys playing in the background at
all times in our house). My 3 year old, Aidyn, sings Just
a Man in the bath tub at the kitchen table, everywhere.
Also, Soul Shaker has taken us over, we LOVE IT!
Crystal and I are planning to go to MI in August to see
you perform at the Silver Palace Music Festival &
also East Tawas Blues Festival, with no kids for this
one. We have some friends that live in Escanaba, MI, they
want to go to!! I always tell them to listen, go buy a
CD, they are now hooked as well. Everything looks good
for this trip, will let you know if it becomes official.
Hopefully we can chat with you and the guys for a bit.
One more thing, we love the Fender guitar we purchased
at the PhotoCharity Event, it is going in a plexiglass
show case and will be on our wall forever, maybe someday
I or one of the kids will be playing it!!
See ya Tommy,
Mark
Blues till the end!

Hey Tommy
I really do miss your music and loved going to Vegas to
see you play at Boulder Station. I'm in Iraq at the moment
and I could sure use a dose of your music to lift me up.
I forgot to bring your CD's with me. I'm writting my woman
to send me some copies. Can't wait to get back and see
you in Vegas again. If they could here your music here
there would be no reason to fight. We would all be to
mellowed out for that.Take care and keep playin.

After seeing you perform in Mesa this afternoon, I just
had to peruse your website and am happy to provide my
feedback: You are an awesome talent! Being a guitarist
myself, I really take notice when someone risis above
mediority. Lets face it, theres tens of thousands a very
good players out there, possibly more. But when someone
like you comes in with the subtlety, variety, and feeling,
coupled with masterful execution and touch, well.... I
was awestruck. You playing is extremely 'fluid' and never
sounded for a moment monotonous, which is the danger of
anyone playing the blues. Well done, my man.... it was
a real treat to hear you play, and the sound of your axe
is about as perfect a guitar sound as I've heard from
anyone. Great support from the rest of your band too.
You deserve the growing respect and attention you are
getting! May you always be as sincere and authentic as
I saw you today.
Best Regards.

Hey guys! I'd heard of you guys but wasn't entirely familiar
with your stuff. While on vacation in Wisconsin we were
at a local mall walking around. We passed one of those
kiosks for the local cable channel, and it had a 60"
plasma screen with some programming on it. After we passed
it I heard some awesome Strat tones (I'm an aspiring blues
player in STL), so I had to back up and check it out.
You guys were on the tube! To end the story--I told my
wife to go shopping, and I stayed and watched the entire
show. I really like your Strat's tone, but I really admire
how you spread the wealth musically--I'm taking notes,
believe me. I'm a ALbert/B.B./Freddie King, Buddy Guy,
SRV--inspired player, which is of course more guitar centric.
You guys have the right idea--I'm buying 2-3 of your records
after I right this!

Thank you so much for your more than excellent music last
night at Roseland Grill. My father had died three days
before and your band was just what I needed. I hope you
do write a song called "Painkiller" I wasn't
kidding. Your music takes away the pain. Please come back
to the Portland, OR as much as possible.

Hello Tommy and the rest of the guys I
have followed you and your band, seeing you perform at
the Boom Boom Room to Slims. Las Vegas to Sacramento,
but I have to say my experience seeing you on Stage with
My All Time Favorite SANTANA especially and , B.B. KING,
as well as BUDDY GUY. Was an experience of a life time
that I will always cherish. I had commented to my friends,
I wonder how Tommy is feeling right at this moment. Sitting
with the BEST OF THE BEST Guitarist, the high of that
moment shined through your face, body and your gift of
playing the guitar. THANK YOU! Growing up with 4 brothers,
two of them musicians. Music was such a big part of my
life growing up, listening to my brother playing the drums
to the music of Santana, The Beatles, Janit Joplin just
to name a few. Music is such a positive outlet, and can
have such a powerful message. I am a music/ concert individual
that enjoys and appreciates true raw music, especially
the Blues there aint nothing like listening to live music.
Being able to escape and enjoy myself with every part
of my being, from a hard day of work earning that o' mighty
dollar. I could'nt imagine life without music. You make
your guitar speak out like words, like Santana does or
B.B., as well as the classic Eric Clapton. I really enjoyed
seeing you last at Slim's around March or April, when
you introduced your new drummer. I'm one that always is
aware of the calibur of people you draw in. I have to
say it was nice to see latino faces in the crowd, it had
been long over due to see the influence of a strong latino
musician. Watching this long haired, mid-age latino leading
with the sound of the drums, playing like he has been
playing in the band from the beginning. I was very, very
impressed. At an early age in my life, music has been
such a big part of my life. Having two brothers learning
to play the drums to Santana, The Beatles, Janit Joplin
to name a few. My eldest brother is a natural ment to
play music, I always said he should have made it as a
professional. My other brother had to work to hard just
to some what be good. I have alot of respect and admiration
for musicians like yourself and the guys. I look forward
to seeing you guys real soon here, and happy to know that
one of my latino brothers has the honor to play with the
three of you. I've enjoyed seeing and experiencing you
rise to the top from the early days of the 90's and look
forward listening to you and the band for years to come.
Sincere

Hey Tommy,
It was great to see you again at "Belly Up"
in San Diego last Saturday. I had the pleasure of seeing
a number of your perfomances in the past but this time
my son Ryan was able to come along with me. If you recal,
we were the last ones to take pictures with you and talk
with you for a few minutes. My son told you he was leaving
for Iraq in February with the Marines. I am living in
Germany at this time and took a trip to San Diego to visit
with him for a while before he deploys.
One of the first times I saw you live, I asked you to
write a few words to my son who at that time was about
12. He was learning to play guitar and he new your name
because I was playing your songs in my band at the time.
You did write a short message to him which he still has.
I just wanted to say how kind it was of you to take a
few minutes to talk with my son and I at Belly Up. Meeting
you and finally hearing / seeing you perform live, is
some thing that he will not forget. You once again inspired
a young guitarist.
Thanks
See you next Time.

Hey gang-we are so excited that you are coming to Washington!
We will see you in Tacoma at Jazz Bones. Let me explain
- my sister Teddi, from Tennessee, turned us on to Delbert
McClinton first. She went on the cruises etc., then she
turned us on to you guys. We are a group of nine blood
sisters (I'm the baby at 41) - yep from the same two parents
- who love music & love to dance! Last summer was
the first time we have all been together in the same place
at the same time in our lives. We had a reunion to celebrate
our mom's 70th birthday and yes, we jammed to your music!
When Tennessee Teddi heard yall' were coming to Washington
she made sure those of us who lived here knew you were
coming. As of yesterday there was a group of 15 of us
going to Jazz Bones to see you. Then my 70 year old mother
decided she wanted to go too! My hubby who hasn't attended
any family gatherings in ages is coming(he didn't even
come to the reunion). After all the emails flying back
& forth about the big event, Teddi became extremely
jealous and decided to fly out here just for your show!
All the way from Tennessee! I have also invited several
other friends to join us - thanks for helping to bring
my family together. You can imagine the baggage that can
accumulate in a family of 9 girls & having you guys
around to bring us together without having to carry any
of that old baggage is priceless! I hope you can make
time to meet us after the show - we can hardly wait!
Sincerely,
Bobbie - #9Sister

I just checked the bands tour dates to see if you'd be
in my neck of the woods anytime soon. How disappointed
I was to find out....nope. I recently moved from Chico,
CA up to Reno. When I lived in Chico I'd get the chance
to see you all 2 times a year. I NEED A TOMMY CASTRO BAND
FIX!!!!!!!!! BAD!!!! It's been almost a year (next month)
since I've heard/seen you live. I swear, you play the
best, the best music to dance too. I can stay out on that
dance floor dancin away as long as all of you are up there
playin away. You have noooo idea how good your music makes
me feel. I truly feel it deep in my soul. It's like that
Keb Mo' song. Thanks for existing, all of you and I hope
someday soon you'll get back up to Reno and please stay
safe in your travels.

The wife and I and four other couples, all great TCB fans,
enjoyed the band's New Year show at the Mystic in Petaluma.
We drove there from the East Bay on Saturday afternoon
with some concern about road closures, floods, etc. Fortunately,
roads were clear enough for us to get to our hotel and
then to the venue. There was a ton of energy that night
and the band was great as usual, a perfect way to bring
in the new year. We really enjoyed the mix of old and
new. Wishing you the best on your nomination. Thanks for
a great time!

Tommy,
Keith, Randy, and Chris. I invited a group of friends
to see the show at the Powerhouse Pub, knowing some of
them (like myself) love music, but most of them had not
heard your music before. You now have a new group of fans!!
After the show I was talking with one of the couples that
went, the lady said "I really like that song, the
one about being a hero." I told her that was "Just
A Man" and it too is my favorite song....actually
I like so many of your songs, that I can't decide on a
favorite anymore. Well, unknown to me, that couple got
your "Soul Shaker" CD, and when I visited their
home a few days later, I walked in and what do you think
they were listening to...? "Whatcha Gonna Do Now".
My friend's husband, said "I really love this song."
A happy feeling came over me, like I had shared something
wonderful with them....it was great! Well, I'll be seeing
ya....
